Making sense of billions of chatbot conversations
Designing a data analysis tool from scratch to help the worldβs largest enterprises improve their chatbot experiences. As the sole UX designer, I turned a rough concept into a powerful, scalable product that helps teams pinpoint and fix AI Chatbot user flow issues at pace.

Brought in at the earliest concept stage, I shaped an early idea into a focused product. I helped the client move from exploratory sketches to a functioning product and component library, enabling their team and clients to analyse billions of conversational data points with speed and confidence.

How did I get there?

Discovery & problem alignment
Facilitated team sessions to strip the idea back to core problems and define real user goals around analysing large-scale chatbot data.

Audit of existing materials
Reviewed all sketches, Balsamiq wireframes, and existing research to extract valuable input and avoid duplicated effort.

User story writing & task mapping
Co-created user stories with the client and wrote detailed task flows to align design and development teams early.

Rapid prototyping & internal testing
Sketched and built quick prototypes to validate core flows and assess the original breadcrumb navigation concept.

Concept iteration & productivity focus
Shifted toward a stacked filter model with clear visual logic, improving both flexibility and analytical speed.

Designed the dashboards in a modular widget-based system to support fast development and future extensibility.

Reflection π€
Designing for big data is never just about visuals, it's about mental models, workflows, and trust. This project required close collaboration to unpack deep domain knowledge and a pragmatic, iterative approach to make sure the final product delivered real value. By focusing on reusable components and testing early, we stayed agile within a tight budget and development timeline. It reinforced that UX for enterprise tools is all about clarity, flexibility, and trust in the design process.
