Redesigning workplace surveys that employees actually finish
Transforming a high drop-off enterprise survey into a user-friendly tool that delivers better data. I redesigned the end-to-end experience, balancing Oxford-backed methodology with modern UX, resulting in faster completions, happier users, and more accurate insight.

Quick Solutions approached with a high-stakes challenge: redesign their enterprise culture survey tool without compromising the academic accuracy that gave their data credibility. As the sole UX designer and researcher, I reimagined the entire experience - Reducing user fatigue and drop-off while improving the clarity, usability, and data integrity of the tool.

How did I get there?

Facilitated on-site workshops with business leaders and product consultants to understand goals, constraints, and the purpose of the survey data.

Conducted a heuristic evaluation of the existing tool and analysed how other products handle long-form survey interactions to gather best practices.

Built and tested low-fidelity wireframes with real users to evaluate new ways of asking questions while retaining the Oxford-approved structure.

Refined flows and interactions based on usability findings and maintained alignment with core business journeys.

Reflection ๐ค
This project reinforced the power of fast prototyping and user testing, even on a tight budget. It also highlighted the importance of strong design patterns and developer collaboration, especially in constrained environments. The success of this project came from maintaining constant communication with stakeholders and keeping a laser focus on solving real user pain points. If I could expand the work, Iโd spend more time exploring how to evolve the questions themselves into more intuitive formats, without compromising data integritiy. But even within scope, the return on investment from iterative design was clear: better data, faster completions, and a tool users actually enjoy.
